Performance Comments

A truly sensible and extremely quiet colt has been very easy to get going.  He is affectionate and a people horse.Trainable with an outstanding temperament. Travels beautiful, easy to shoe, clip and transport. Mile of rein and a big heart.  Big black and beautiful.

Slim and Dusty was started as a 2 year old.  He has progressed from the bag to  working cattle over the past few months.  Darren regularly raves of the progress this colt makes in such a short space of time.

We have used him for day work mustering long days in rough country and he is eager to please.

He travels and holds himself correctly.  He stops and turnarounds beautifully.

He is quiet and has never had any vices at all from when he was started.

He is very soft and has been ridden by a lady.

Identical to his full brother Darma Acres of Aces winner of ASHS Futurity 2013. Dam won Novice horse of year.

Lenny Madden raves of the temperament of  Acres of Aces, he performs him brideless, leads mares from him and says there is none better!

DAM - successful campdraft mare in her own right winning Novice horse of the year.  A true style of Reflect mare that has bred some excellent outcomes to Acres in all of the DARMA bred horses.

Adios Reflect cross with Acres Destiny has proven success in all of the DARMA horses competing today.

Adios Reflect was an Open Campdraft winner and twice won the ABCRA National Finals Novice Draft. Reflect was a full brother to Select, winner of over 200 drafts; and Direct who placed 2nd in the 1985 Warwick Gold Cup and sired Shamrock, the winner of the 1993 Warwick Gold Cup.

Adios Reflect success as a sire is evident in his progeny. This includes Adios Flo Jo, the winner of the 2004 Canning Downs and the 2005 ABCRA Open Horse of the year title; Havago Shadow the 2007 ABCRA Open Horse of the year title holder; Kirkbys Stud Amy, winner of the Maiden Series campdraft, multiple draft winners Rainy, Wonga, Sultan, Kirkby Stud Echo, Adios Just Blue and Kirkby Stud Turbo.

Acres Destiny needs no introduction but is considered to be that he has had more influence on Cutting, Campdraft and Challenge in Australia then any other horse.
