Conatallic has been spelled since early February, and will go into work on 5th May for a light sale preparation considering his age, and the pressure and expectations that sale preps put on 2yos. A truly placid minded colt that ticks ALL the boxes. Roan. Good size - figure he'll mature out around 15.1 maybe more. Nice head to hang a bridle on everyday. Plenty of rein. Stands on good straight timber. Ridden by a lady. Shod by a lady. Trained by a lady. Walks along real well, could amble later on. Free long trot (and done MILES of that riding outside here) Beautiful canter, and cruises into speed and back down again with ease. Good park brake. Power steering works spot on for rollbacks and turnarounds. Good lateral and vertical flexion. Respectfully flexible in the shoulders, ribs and hip. Quiet but sensitive, very aware of the world around him. Beautifully balanced circles. Established fly changes at a canter or gallop. And not much arena time. VERY limited training on cattle, as considering his age Vs a long sound career. Wow! Can travel, can rate, will park, can do some moves that an under 2yo colt with VERY limited rides on cattle should not be doing! Outstanding cowsense. Conatallic will NOT be overdone to jazz him up for Sale Day. His pedigree says he's the real deal. And to ride him proves it. We love this colt and what he has to offer. Definite business proposition. His dam is a beautiful mare in every respect. At her first outing in 2024 she won the cut out after 3 rounds and a 6 way run off at the Eureka Creek $50,000 draft. We love riding her, and her first few ET progeny are outstanding!
