A lovely mare that has had a mile of work. Consolation is very natural chasing a cow, super soft, trainable and very sweet. Her dam won campdrafts & challenges and Consolation has the breeding and ability to do the same.

Consolation is a beautiful mare from a family of champions. She has had a mile of work, is very soft, trainable, cowy, quiet and super sweet. Her dam, Cedar Downs Silk, is a Novice Camdpraft mare that also ran 2nd in the Restricted open at Jambin. She won and placed in led classes, ASHS workings and hacks, she won the maiden draft at Weengallon and placed in the Paradise Lagoons Open Draft. Jay Pearce has also successfully drafted several younger sisters to Silk, winning and placing in Maiden and Novice Drafts. It’s a very strong mare line and we are retaining a younger full sister to Consolation. Consolation will make an A grade campdraft and challenge mare.
