Performance Comments
Here is something interesting - already sire registered, [The] Knight Chant is dual 2C ASH/ASB and eligible to race. Chant is by underrated stakes placed sire [The] Knight Exemplar and out of a race winning and producing mare, Lutine. Exemplar, as well as producing exciting race winning progeny also has young stock commencing polo/polocrosse careers.
This colt is a well grown, beautifully conformed, athletic with an enquiring and trainable nature and presents a myriad of performance opportunities with future ASH/TB sire potential. He should mature around 16hh.
Well socialised in a herd environment up to 10 months of age, the FoY will be his first main outing. The New England Equine team has set him up for success in his future performance life with their strong preparatory program. He accepts whip cracking, is lunging well, joins up, wash, trim, mane clip, ties up, and by sale day will have been ponied extensively to face different obstacles (including starting stalls) and water. The teams' most common comment about him is "he is so quiet and doesn't act like a colt" but we know he is - there is a reason the precocious lad is sire registered.
ASB ID card will be provided. Entered National Yearling Futurity and Yearling colt class 11/5.
