Beautiful quiet mare campaigned by kids and adults. Multi-champion ASH show mare at state and Royal level. Competed Sydney/Canberra Royals 2023. Won and placed in maturities and challenges. Out of an open mare. Had 2mths on cattle with Jamie Seccombe.
Performance Comments
This is a very special mare that has had a solid foundation program and has been campaigned for 2 years on the ASH circuit. Done numerous Ag shows (shown by both myself and my 11yr old daughter) with numerous Champions. She has been to many branch and state ASH shows and challenges with many performances. She also did Canberra and Sydney Royals in 2023 coming home with ribbons. She is a mare that turns heads wherever she goes. She has a big stop and turn. She is solid in all her dry work, flys, stops, rollbacks/haunch turns, spins, whip, slow work etc. She is also a serious mare on a cow. She will sit down and work on her hind end to cutout or step up and track one round. She spent 2 mths with Jamie Seccombe setting her up on cattle. She has been lightly drafted but hasn't been really stepped up yet making her still soft. We have spent 2yrs putting a great foundation on this mare setting her up to be able to step into any arena. She has also been used extensively at home for work. She has done many long days up in our hills mustering cattle. She is good with dogs, opening gates, crossing creeks etc.
Her dam "Destinys Black Gem" was an awesome mare on a cow and was a multi draft winner. She has also gone onto produce draft and challenge winners. A Conman stallion out of her won the Dalby ASH Sale challenge after being purchased the previous year. We lost her foaling this year so this will probably be the last foal out of her offered for sale.
A great mare that has all the work done that the whole family can ride. We don't often sell mares like this with all the work done but we need to make room on the truck for some young ones coming through.
