Tex was lightly shown by a Non Pro in the 2023 futurities by her Non Pro owner/trainer. Tex has a temperament and attitude of a horse far older than 4. She has travelled all over the country side and has not been limited to the cutting pen. She has spent time mustering and out of the arena in between shows and training. She has been exposed to dogs/whips/bikes/buggies and general farm life. Tex was breed by Marsh Carney and we purchased her in 2021 out of the NCHA online sale.Tex was broken in by Shaun Saunders as a 2yo and showed great potential from day one, Tex is a very well balanced horse that tries her heart out and loves to cut a cow. Her maternal line has NCHA futurity winners as well as some much sort after campdraft lines. We have successfully flushed an embryo from Tex in the 23/24 breeding season and will be retaining it for ourselves. Tex is a truly honest horse that is the same as the day you turn her our as she is the day you bring her back in. Tex is genuine offered for sale at the Nutrien Classic Sale due to no fault of her own, only due to personal circumstances on our behalf.
