Curly comes from a family of competitive cow horses. His sire PIMPED UP CAT is a 7/8 brother to METALLIC CAT, who made a name for himself in the cutting pen prior to transitioning to the campdraft arena. Winner of 3 Novice Drafts with Steve Comiskey, currently running 2nd in the ACA Novice Horse standings, and throughout the 2023 Triple Crown, he stepped into the camp 11 times to finish with a score of 87+ in 8 of those runs. Curlys dam line needs no introduction either, producing plenty of competitive camprafters and cutters, including his full blood brother CURRELL STYLES UP (Pimped Up Cat x Currell Mega Stylish) and full sister to his mother CURRELL LULU, who was campdrafted by Jj Lamb as 'Hot Chilli Woman', a super successful campdrafting mare, running scores of up to 93. 
Curly spent most of 2023 in the mustering team, including a stint of droving in November. He has been ridden by a lady for most of his time with us. Super casual, no nonsense kind of horse. In August he spent 6 weeks with cutting trainer Heath Sinclair. Very easy to get along with on the ground. Expected to mature 14.3hh. A very kind, soft ride.
