Gorgeous stretchy mare that would suit any cow sport. Started at 3, she has begun a cutting program with Paul Webb, is stylish and very cowey. Naturally leaded she would draft or cow-horse and is ready to go-on-the-truck

As she was started at 3 years old Paul decided to enter her in the snaffle bit Futurity. She had been in work just 9 months and he felt she was still too green for the pressure of competing in the one handed Futurity. She had an excellent first run, scoring a 212, but unfortunately Paul got Covid and was too unwell to ride her in the second round which was very dissapointing.
Since then she has continued her training and has been training one handed and is very solid in her wet work. She has worked Bison and cows at various preworks and practices away from home showing super nice style and really enjoys her works. She is a naturally leaded mare thats easy to ride, super intellegent and just like her Dam will make a superb show horse and go on to be a great brood mare. Has been ridden outside the arena most days and down the road etc, she is a bright lovely forward ride taking everything in her stride. We do believe she would cut draft or cowhorse no trouble at all. We have retained an embryo
Her SireMetallic To The Max is one of the nicest Metallic Cat horses around and is out of the super imported mare Dainty Pepto Girl- who is from Dainty Playgirl earner of over $271,000, and USA Open Futurity Champion (with progeny earners over $290,000). Metallic To The Max sure is bred in the Purple and he is leaving cracker youngsters. This mare Red Hot Metallic is from his first foal crop.
Her Dam Cats Quickstep was also shown and won the open Snaffle bit Futurity with Paul. She then went on to show under Trent Smith with great success. She was retired early to the broodmare paddoc due to a freak accident. Cats Quickstep has a blue blooded pedigree as well with phenominal mares Docs Quick Spin, Moms Stylish Cat, and Yulgibar Quick Chick all up close. Y Quick Chick was a super producer including ...
Docs Agile, Docs Blue Eye, Docs Quick Spin, Docs Be Quick, Docs Cachet, Docs Concerto, Docs Desert Rose, Docs Halifax, Docs Malanda, Freckles Bonita Two, Spins Tempo. All of which have been huge money earners.
Her sire line includes non other than Tapt Dancin Cat (Highbrow Cat), Pepto Stylish Oak (Peptoboonsmal) Docs Spinifex, Pine Olena and other great sires.
