Sire: won and placed in over 20 drafts, and a challenge and show winner. Dam was a highly competitive drafter running scores into the 90’s and placing at the ASH Nationals. Been broken in 12mths, very soft, athletic, kind horse.

Senator was broken in 12mths ago and has done plenty of miles mustering and farm work. We have lots of hilly country so our horses learn to work in steep country, crossing creeks etc. We put our young horses to work before we do too much arena work. Senator has just completed the first stage in his formal education. He has established all his basics, collection, shape on a circle, lead departures, transitions, stops, rollbacks, he's begun to learn the basis of a spin, he has been taught to gallop and check/adjust his pace and corner at pace, he has tracked cattle at speed and is learning to watch them in an arena. He is showing a natural cow sense you would expect from his breeding. Like his father he would really suit the challenge arena as much as drafting, he is very trainable and has the ability to develop a big stop and spin, he is already showing the beginnings of this. He has a very kind attitude and tries to please just like his mother. He is very quiet and great to do anything with like clipping, rugging, shoeing, tying up, loading etc. He has had a great start without being rushed, he is ready for someone to take him onto the next stage. He has had his teeth done, checked by a chiropractor, been wormed regularly and vaccinated.
