Quiet, honest gelding, expected to mature 14.3hh. Beautiful nature. Broke in September 2023, will have had plenty of miles in the paddock and arena prior to sale. One cool cucumber that will suit the family in any cowhorse discipline.

Skipper is a home bred gelding by our sire ACRES OF ACES, winner of 3 Novice Drafts (Dulacca 2021, St George ASH 2022, Eumamurrin 2022) and has placed in Ladies and Open Drafts as well. His dam TRYON BAY JEWL was a valued work horse who was lightly competed prior to injury that forced her into the broodmare paddock. Skipper has taken after both his parents with his kind, friendly nature. He was a breeze to break in, and has taken everything in his stride since. Spent a few weeks droving in the Maranoa region, coupled with a month of mustering to prepare him for sale. Predominatley ridden by a lady in this time. A very cowy gelding, great stop and rollback, could make a very fun challenge ride before transitioning to the campdraft arena in the coming years. Very easy to handle in every way. We have no doubts with a bit more time he would suit the whole family, right down to the juniors in your chosen cowhorse discipline. Photos by GRACE MARY PHOTOGRAPHY
