Close relation Sooner The Better just nabbed by star stablemate Merlin in Auckland on 17 February 2023 in $200,000 NZB STANDARDBRED HARNESS MILLION 3YO C & G FINAL (Alta Meteor 6th).  Sooner The Better rated by trainers Barry Purdon and Scott Phelan little inferior to Merlin, and predicted to shine over the longer trips in the derbies.
